As as still love to take pictures... As you can see, I'm still in Marseille, living the french dream, speaking finally french (yuhoo) and enjoying life the way it is. Sending you all kisses, Alma!

M A R S E I L L E

I know that I stopped posting. But I had a good reason for that. Sometimes you have no clue what life could give you and what roads you'll take. In my case, I moved to Marseille! Tomorrow I'm gonna be celebrating 2 months of living alone in this beautiful city, having the job of my life and getting tanned!

So girls, keep on dreaming!

Love ya,

Alma

Ps: sorry for the overdose of pictures!

"You live like this, sheltered, in a delicate world, and you believe you are living. Then you read a book… or you take a trip… and you discover that you are not living, that you are hibernating. The symptoms of hibernating are easily detectable: first, restlessness. The second symptom (when hibernating becomes dangerous and might degenerate into death): absence of pleasure. That is all. It appears like an innocuous illness. Monotony, boredom, death. Millions live like this (or die like this) without knowing it. They work in offices. They drive a car. They picnic with their families. They raise children. And then some shock treatment takes place, a person, a book, a song, and it awakens them and saves them from death. Some never awaken"

My days haven't been so fun lately. In Bucharest snowed ( like tons of snow), I'm waking up too early and falling asleep around 11 pm. But I keep on dreaming. Keep on making plans... Keep moving!
This pics are just what I'm managed to do on this weather. At least I have a nice restaurant near my place where I can hide away from time to time.

Kisses!

Therfore the world is meaningless

I am! Therfore the world is meaningless. The enthusiastica zeal and mad passion I put into becoming a brilliant individual, the demonic charm I adopted to gain an aura in the future, and the energy I spent on an organic, glamorous inner rebirth, all proved weaker than the beastly brutality and irrationality of this world, wich poured into me all its reserves of positivity and hope. Only mediocrities live life’s normal temperature; the others are consumed at temperatures at which life cannot endure, at which they can barely breathe, already one foot beyond life.

This is a part of world that most of you have no clue it exists. I have found this piece of heaven in our search for New Year's Eve trip. It's a small Bulgarian town, Plovdiv.
We discovered in here, except great food, old Roman ruins, hidden churches, paved streets, beautiful houses. I felt like I was in other era.

You should start giving attention also to this country, that's aggrieved just like Romania because of the poor economical situation.

Open your heart and mind this year!

Happy New Year!

Springtime skirt

It's not a secret that most of my clothes are gifts from my older sister, vintage pieces from my grandmother and a few from my mother.
I rarely give away clothes because my inspiration come and go or sometimes I'm making some modifications.

So it's not an exception that what I'm wearing for this post are thrifted. I discovered a store that has lovely vintage pieces that nobody seems to notice. When I saw this cashmere skirt I was amazed. It's like wearing sprin during winter. It's not really my size but I managed to take it up and hide it under the white top.
The denim shirt/vest I brought it home form a montly fair, where a few girls meet to change clothes. For me was exactly what I wanted. It's beautifuly embroidered.
And the shoes, pink leather with low heels are a gift from my grandmother. I'm lucky that we wear the same shoe size.
